Position Title: Engineer / Senior Engineer – Mould Maintenance
An Engineer or Senior Engineer in Injection Mold Machine Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and peak performance of molding equipment. This includes executing breakdown repairs, developing preventive schedules, and minimizing downtime to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems of injection molding machines. [
- Equipment Expertise: Maintain auxilliary equipment such as chillers, temperature controllers, hot runner systems, and material handling robots.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct 'Why-Why' analysis for machine failures to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and prevent repeat occurrences.
- Spare Parts & Inventory:
Oversee critical spare parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce maintenance costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to plant safety standards, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and 5S practices
- Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with production and tooling departments to support mold setups, trials, and troubleshooting of molding defects
Typical Qualifications
- Location: MIDC Waluj, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
- Experience Required: 4 to 7 Years in Plastic Injection Moulding Machine / Tool Room/Maintenance
- Industry: Automotive Component Manufacturing (Tier-1 OEM Supplier)
- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or CIPET (DPMT/PDPMT)
