Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous Website and SEO Tester to ensure the optimal performance,
functionality, and search engine optimization (SEO) compliance of our website. The ideal
candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of web development
fundamentals, and expertise in testing SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and
user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Website Testing:
o Conduct functionality, usability, performance, and compatibility testing across devices and browsers.
o Identify and document website bugs, glitches, or performance bottlenecks.
o Collaborate with developers to validate fixes and improvements.
SEO Testing:
o Analyze on-page and technical SEO factors, including metadata, keyword usage, and site architecture.
o Perform audits to identify broken links, crawl errors, and other issues that may impact
rankings.
o Validate schema markup, alt text, and other SEO elements for accuracy.
o Test website speed, mobile responsiveness, and core web vitals in alignment with SEO best practices.
Tools and Reporting:




o Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog,
and other SEO and testing platforms.
o Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, website issues, and SEO improvements.
o Monitor SEO KPIs and suggest actionable recommendations for optimization.
Collaboration and Updates:
o Work closely with the development, content, and marketing teams to ensure SEO strategies are implemented effectively.
o Stay updated on the latest SEO and web development trends, algorithm updates, and testing tools.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
● Proven experience in website testing and/or SEO testing roles.
● Proficient in using testing and SEO tools (e.g., Selenium, Lighthouse, GTmetrix).
● Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
