JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Verification and validation engineer would lead the V&V; department in order to test and validate current products being developed in the ideaForge product pipeline. He should come with a passion to understand, observe, review, and test the prototypes, functions, product, and its variants with a vision to develop the best-in-class systems. He should have the relevant expertise and experience to identify things that may fail, test them early in development cycle and raise a flag so that it can be fixed well in time. The Senior V&V; engineer is expected to have a good systemic understanding of the product to understand potential areas of improvement and also have an eye for detail at a component/feature level to recognize failure modes in subsystems such that they are represented well through a failure report in order to improve them in subsequent prototypes. The Sr V&V; engineer would participate in Requirement specification creation/modification meetings in order to understand the product functions and prepare test strategies accordingly.



Hold discussions with design team to get an in-depth understanding of functionalities and prepare test protocols to cover all aspects of design and usage. Carry out test plan realization which is defined from the specifications. Lead the testing campaign, including the execution of the tests. Train other V&V; resources on test planning and execution. Analyze result of the testing and communicate them to stakeholders. Define a consistent standard for final test report preparation in accordance with the project procedures. Work with the QC team to define the QAP plan for products that move from development to production. Understand the testing requirements for UAV (domestic and international) and get them certified for the same. Work with certification agencies/labs to be able to carry out product testing and qualification. Understand the long term testing requirements of design team and procure the right test equipmen
