Company Description: Our client, a leading company in the Rail industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join their team in Hyderabad. As the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement function, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the effective and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, with a focus on the Rail industry.
- Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluation to ensure a high-performing department.
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, and finance teams, to understand their requirements and provide effective procurement support.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure the availability of quality goods and services.
- Monitor market trends,



evaluate supplier performance, and conduct regular supplier assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Implement robust procurement processes and systems, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline procurement processes, and optimize supplier performance.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement performance, cost savings, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to procurement in the Rail industry.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
