Job Description Professor – Foundation (Design)
n Mumbai, Delhi
n We are looking for an experienced and passionate resource for the Foundation department at Pearl Academy, Mumbai and Delhi. The role requires strong academic leadership, faculty management, industry engagement, and a student-centric approach.
n Key Responsibilities:
n Curriculum Development/ Planning
n • Course planning for all courses for the academic session
n • Academic calendar implementation
n Curriculum execution
n • Review section-wise data/ marks statements
n • Monitor progress of students to next level
n Faculty Management
n • Orienting and mentor new faculty members (on course structure, course related documents and KRAs)
n • Timetabling and monitor FET
n • Assess TQ / MQ and provide valuable feedback for improvement to faculty
n Teaching
n • Design and teach subjects/modules/courses
n • Engaging faculty to prepare / revise course materials and resources
n External focus




n • Enhance industry relations for better visibility within the region
n • Represent the department at regional marketing & sales activities/ assigning faculty
n • Coordinate with CRD for high ROI for students' placements
n Counselling & Mentoring
n • Identify development needs and mentor the students
n • Manage feedback received through PCMs, manage course teams and follow-up with S3 for student issues
n Other Activities
n • Plan Student orientation for all courses
n • Any other department related responsibilities at regional level
n • Supporting the AD to create a research culture in the dept.
n • Active team player with AD in identifying recent source of revenue generation in the form of consulting projects, B2B, Pop up labs etc
