DATA ANALYST (Market Research / Lead Generation)

Industry: (Frozen Food Manufacturing Company)
Location: Ambala, Haryana
Experience: 2–5 years (Market research / data analytics / lead generation)
Industry Preference: FMCG, Frozen Foods, Packaged Foods, Food Processing

Role Objective:-

To research, collect, and analyze market data for frozen food companies, distributors, dealers, and potential clients. The Data Analyst will support the sales and marketing team by generating actionable leads, competitor intelligence, and market insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Data Collection & Research

- Search online databases, company websites, directories, and social media to gather frozen food company details.
- Identify dealers, distributors, suppliers, and institutional buyers in the frozen food sector.
- Track current product launches, market trends, and competitor activities.

2. Lead Generation & CRM Support

- Generate high-quality leads for sales outreach and dealer queries.
- Maintain and update lead databases in CRM or Excel sheets.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of contact information, company profiles, and product portfolios.

3. Market Analysis & Reporting





- Analyze collected data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential business gaps.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports for sales and marketing teams.
- Provide insights to support marketing campaigns and sales strategies.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to understand data requirements.
- Support business development initiatives with actionable insights and intelligence.

Qualifications:-

- Educational Qualification:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Courses or certifications in market research, data analytics, or Excel/CRM tools are an added advantage.

Experience:

- 2–5 years of experience in market research, lead generation, or data analytics, preferably in FMCG, Frozen Foods, or related industries.

Key Skills Required:-

- Strong internet research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic CRM tools
- Good communication skills for report preparation
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of frozen food or FMCG industry is a plus
