Job Description:

- General Accounting: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and vendor statement reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Project Costing & Analysis: Track and allocate all project-related expenses (labor, materials, overheads) to specific jobs to ensure accurate job costing and profitability analysis.
- Invoicing & Billing: Process invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders. Prepare and verify progress/RA (Running Account) bills and final client bills for electrical works.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements (P&L;), and cash flow statements.
- Compliance & Taxation: Ensure all financial practices align with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP in the US, Ind AS/AS in India)



and local regulatory guidelines. Assist with the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
- Budgeting Assistance: Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, conducting variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and reporting discrepancies to management.
- Audit Support: Prepare financial documentation and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications and Skills

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (b.com preferred).
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in an accounting role, ideally within the construction or industrial sector.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP 9 or later, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is mandatory.
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
