Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataPower Specialist to lead the architecture, security, deployment, and automation of our enterprise gateway infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing IBM DataPower Gateway and Event Gateways, integrating them into hybrid cloud environments (AWS & Kubernetes), and driving automated deployments using GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and Ansible. You will ensure high availability, robust security policies, and smooth integration following ITIL practices.
Key Responsibilities

- Gateway Administration & Security: Administer and configure IBM DataPower Gateways (v10+, Virtual/Physical/Containerized) and Event Gateways-implementing AAA policies, OAuth 2.0, SAML, mTLS, JWT, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) features.
- Infrastructure Automation (IaC): Automate DataPower domain provisioning, firmware updates, configuration builds, and deployment routines using Terraform, Ansible, and DataPower REST/SOMA APIs.
- CI/CD Pipeline Integration:



Establish GitOps workflows and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated configuration deployment, testing, and promotion across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.
- Cloud & Container Integration: Deploy and maintain containerized DataPower instances in Kubernetes / AWS environments, supporting event-driven architectures (Kafka / Event Streams).
- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Perform deep-dive root-cause analysis using DataPower system logs, packet captures (PCAP), probe tools, and Linux command-line utilities.
- ITIL & Governance: Lead Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management processes within an ITIL framework (ServiceNow) for mission-critical gateway environments.
