Job Description : Visiting Faculty for Computer Graphics & Design – B Tech Computer Science & Design
( Freelance)
Position: Freelance Faculty (Part-Time / Hourly Basis)
Location: Rajiv Gandhi Education City,NH-1, Sonipat, Haryana.

Role Summary
edept Operations is looking for a creative and technically proficient Visiting Faculty to teach Computer Graphics & Design for B.Tech students. The role is studio-intensive, requiring strong hands-on facilitation using industry-standard design software.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct tutorial sessions and lab/studio hours per week covering computer graphics principles and design workflows
• Teach 2D/3D graphics concepts, colour theory, typography, interface design principles, and visual communication
• Guide students through hands-on exercises using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma
• Design project briefs, studio assignments, and portfolio-based assessments
• Evaluate student work through critique sessions, rubric-based grading, and portfolio reviews
• Maintain design studio discipline, tool access protocols, and project documentation standards.
• Set and evaluate internal assessments (assignments, class tests, sessionals)



and end semester examinations.
• Conduct weekly academic assessment on edept LXP.
• Maintain student attendance records and submit timely progress reports
• Coordinate with the Edept academic team on syllabus coverage and assessment schedules
• Guide students during office hours and address individual academic concerns.

Qualifications & Experience
• B.Des / M.Des in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent
• Alternatively: B.Tech/M.Tech with a strong demonstrated portfolio in design
• Professional-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma
• Understanding of graphic design principles: layout, typography, colour systems, visual hierarchy
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching, training, or skilled design studio experience
• Ability to mentor students through the design process from concept to final output

Preferred / Added Advantage
• Experience in UI/UX or motion graphics as an added skill
• Prior experience in design education at degree level
Active professional practice in design alongside teaching
