Job Description Job Summary
n Silver Consumer Electricals Limited is looking for energetic SCM professionals to strengthen our Purchase team across the Fan and Agri divisions. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor development, procurement planning, inventory management, and cost optimization to ensure uninterrupted production and efficient supply chain operations. Similar manufacturing SCM roles emphasize sourcing, supplier management, ERP proficiency, procurement planning, and cross-functional coordination.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Strategic sourcing of mechanical components and raw materials.
n Vendor identification, development, evaluation, and performance management.
n RFQ preparation, techno-commercial negotiations, and Purchase Order management.
n Procurement planning to ensure timely material availability.
n Inventory monitoring and stock optimization.
n Cost reduction through value engineering and alternate sourcing.
n Develop long-term supplier relationships and improve vendor performance.
n Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, Stores,



Design, and Finance teams.
n Monitor supplier quality, delivery, and commercial performance.
n Maintain procurement data, MIS reports, and ERP/SAP records.
n Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
n n Qualifications
n n Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).
n Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager (Fan Purchase): Minimum 1+ year of relevant SCM/Purchase experience.
n Assistant Manager / Manager (Agri Purchase): Minimum 2+ years of relevant SCM/Purchase experience.
n Candidates from mechanical/manufacturing industries are preferred.
n Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
n ERP/SAP and MS Office knowledge preferred.
