Job Profile: Design Manager -Structure ​

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer to join our

engineering team in Gurugram. The role involves preparing schematic and detailed structural

designs, managing design and detailing teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of structural

engineering projects in compliance with international codes and standards.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in structural analysis and design

software, hands-on experience in BIM-based structural projects, and excellent project

coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

∙Prepare schematic and detailed structural designs including calculations, element design,

sketches, drawings, and 3D models as required.

∙Manage and guide a team of detailers for the delivery of structural design and

visualization projects involving steel, reinforced concrete, composite, wood, CMU, and

light gauge structures.

∙Ensure checking and quality review of all design outputs, 3D models, and coordination





with other disciplines for project integration.

∙Ensure all structural design work is carried out in accordance with relevant international

codes, standards, and established engineering procedures.

∙Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams during

all phases of project execution.

∙Handle project estimation, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination for design, detailing,

and quality assurance activities.

∙Review and optimize structural systems for efficiency, constructability, and compliance

with client requirements.

∙Support BIM implementation and coordination activities across projects.

∙Maintain technical documentation and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

∙Mentor junior engineers and detailers while promoting technical excellence within the

team.

Qualifications & Experience

∙Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.

∙8–15 years of experience in structural design of buildings, infrastructure, and related

engineering projects.

∙Strong hands-on experience in structural design software such as Tekla Structural

Designer, ETABS, PROTECTED, STAAD Pro, Bentley Structural Systems, and similar

platforms.

∙Experience in BIM tools such as Revit Structure, Tekla Structures, and Advance Steel

will be highly preferred.

∙Fully conversant with international design standards and codes.

∙Mandatory experience in American design codes including ACI, AISC, and ASCE.

∙Strong understanding of structural analysis, detailing, and interdisciplinary coordination.

∙Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.

∙Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
