n Roles and Responsibilities
n Academic Leadership & Strategic Planning
n n Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Pre-University College in alignment with the institution's vision, mission, and academic objectives.
n Develop and implement academic plans, policies, and initiatives to enhance student learning outcomes and institutional performance.
n Drive continuous improvement in academic quality, curriculum delivery, and student success metrics.
n Monitor emerging educational trends and recommend innovations to strengthen academic excellence.
n n Academic Administration & Compliance
n n Ensure compliance with all regulations, guidelines, and requirements prescribed by the relevant educational boards and regulatory authorities.
n Oversee academic calendars, examination schedules, attendance monitoring, and academic reporting processes.
n Ensure timely submission of statutory reports, records, and documentation as required by governing bodies.
n Maintain institutional readiness for audits, inspections, and accreditation-related activities.
n n Faculty Leadership & Development
n n Lead, mentor, and evaluate faculty members to ensure high standards of teaching effectiveness and professional conduct.
n Identify faculty development needs and facilitate training, workshops, and skilled growth opportunities.
n Foster a culture of academic excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning among teaching staff.
n Participate in faculty recruitment, selection, onboarding,



and performance management processes.
n n Student Success & Welfare
n n Develop strategies to improve student academic performance, retention, discipline, and overall development.
n Monitor student progress and implement intervention plans for students requiring academic support.
n Promote a safe, inclusive, and student-centric learning environment.
n Address student and parent concerns and ensure timely resolution of academic and administrative issues.
n n Admissions & Enrollment Management
n n Support student enrollment objectives through effective admissions planning and outreach initiatives.
n Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to enhance student recruitment efforts.
n Monitor admission trends, student demographics, and enrollment targets to support institutional growth.
n n Examination & Performance Management
n n Oversee the planning, conduct, and integrity of internal assessments, examinations, and evaluation processes.
n Analyze examination results and implement academic improvement plans based on performance data.
n Ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to examination policies and procedures.
n n Operational & Resource Management




n n Oversee the effective utilization of academic resources, infrastructure, laboratories, and learning facilities.
n Prepare and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation plans, and operational requirements.
n Coordinate with administrative departments to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the college.
n n Stakeholder Engagement
n n Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
n Represent the Pre-University College in institutional meetings, external forums, and academic events.
n Facilitate effective communication between academic departments and institutional leadership.
n n Quality Assurance & Institutional Development
n n Establish and monitor quality assurance measures to enhance academic and operational effectiveness.
n Lead institutional initiatives focused on student achievement, faculty effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
n Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to academic outcomes, admissions, retention, and stakeholder satisfaction.
n Prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior management on college performance and strategic initiatives.

n n Provide leadership in policy implementation and institutional governance matters.
n Support the achievement of institutional goals through effective planning, coordination, and decision-making.
