Job Description – Relationship Manager (Trade Finance)

About the Role

We are hiring experienced Relationship Managers – Trade Finance for a pure acquisition role. The position is responsible for acquiring new Trade Finance customers, building strong corporate relationships, and driving business growth across the assigned territory in Mumbai. This is an individual contributor role focused on new client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire new SME, Mid-Corporate, and Corporate clients for Trade Finance products.
Generate new business for Trade Finance solutions including Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantee (BG), Import & Export Finance, Bill Discounting, and Working Capital.
Identify customer requirements and provide suitable Trade & Transaction Banking solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers.
Coordinate with Credit, Operations, and Trade Operations teams for smooth onboarding and transaction execution.
Achieve monthly acquisition, revenue, and cross-selling targets.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update business activities.




Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2–6 years of experience in Trade Finance / Transaction Banking / Corporate Banking.
Proven experience in acquiring recent Trade Finance clients.
Strong understanding of Trade Products including LC, BG, Import Finance, Export Finance, Bill Discounting, and Forex.
Excellent networking, business development, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and consistently achieve business targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
