Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities: Nn Lead the team of around 8-10 people to give the best client service. through deliverables and interactions. N Oversee day-to-day operations across Industry and ensure alignment with organizational goals and quality standards. N Develop strong AM groupwho can inturn develop their team committed to integrity and excellence in their deliverables. N Identifying trends in completeness and accuracy and finding training opportunities for the preparation team. N Communicating noteworthy items and the conclusion of analysis on reported figures. N Monitor team's performance and optimize resource allocation for maximum impact. N Handling complex projects with minimal instruction or guidance. N Computing and preparingmetrics such as key performance indicators (KPI's) and dashboards for client utilization. N Managing the team directly and managing the job manager upwardly through regular check-in meetings and discussion. NnTechnology skills and Competencies: Nn Learn the Wipfli Way to boost team collaboration and work collectively towards shared goals. N Collaborate with the performance coach to develop necessary skills for career progression. N Train the staff on various core skills, processes, tools, etc. N Participate in operational support activities such as practice/team appraisals and goal setting for assigned associates. N Assist in resolving issues and enhancing team collaboration. N Ability to work autonomously under strict time schedules. N Ability to scrutinize data and propose solutions. N Ability to identify, address, and resolve client issues. N Ability to uphold client confidentiality, personal objectivity, and professional skepticism. N Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. N Ability to adapt scheduling to meet workflow demands. N Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, PPT, Outlook, and one or more accounting packages such as QBO, Intacct, etc.
NnRole expectations: Nn Execute assigned client or organizational audit/accounting tasks to deliver expected results promptly. N Engage regularly with clients, seniors, and other office counterparts for collaborative task completion. N Communicate the status of the work plan and any issues to both clients and associates. N Mentor and guide assigned Associates on advanced accounting practices, methodologies, and financial statement preparation. N Adhere to communicationand documentation standards to produce expected and related work. N Contribute to the improvement of processes, practices, tools, and systems. N Participate in advisoryinitiatives. N Collaborate with team members to assist them with their deliverables or dependencies. N Prepare and review complex financial statements and audit areas. N Engage proactively withclients and managers on growth, expansion, and N advisory areas.n Participate in staffing planning, practice-related activities, hiring, etc. N Manage the team: Allocate tasks, track progress, conduct reviews, provide coaching, and resolve issues. NnEssential qualifications and Experience Required: Nn Experience of financial statement reviews, preparation of complex statements. N QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus but not required at the time of interview and hire (will be required to be obtained after starting). N Experience in non-profit industry accounting. N At least 6 years of job-related experience in the public accounting field with an emphasis on U.S. GAAP accounting specifically related to small to mid-size businesses or at least 6 years of job-related experience as a controller for a small to mid-size U.S. company. N Recent QBO or Intacct or similar accounting package experience. N Should have a positive familiarity with software tools and systems. N Prior supervisory training experience, prior accounting software experience, prior business management experience N
