Job DescriptionJob Title: Assistant Professor – Psychology and Behavioural Sciences NDepartment: Centre for Psychology and Behavioural Sciences NJob Position: NThe School for Psychologyand Behavioural Sciences is seeking to appoint two dynamic and motivated Assistant Professors to contribute to our growing academic team. The ideal candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and academic administration. The positions are intended to support undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in psychology and contribute to the strategic development of the Centre. NKey Responsibilities: NTeaching & Curriculum Delivery Nn Deliver engaging lectures and seminars for undergraduate (B.A./B.Sc.) and postgraduate (M.A./M.Sc.) courses in Psychology. N Contribute to curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement in line with academic standards. N Supervise laboratory/practical sessions and psychological assessments as required. NnResearch & PhD Supervision Nn Conduct high-quality, publishable research in any core or interdisciplinary area of psychology.



N Supervise PhD scholars and guide research projects. NnAcademic & Departmental Administration Nn Assist in academic advising and mentoring of students. N Contribute to departmental coordination roles such as program coordination, admissions, student outreach, and quality assurance. N Participate in departmental meetings, assessment panels, and university-level committees as needed. NnCommunity Engagement & Institutional Development Nn Contribute to public engagement, community-based projects, and university outreach initiatives. N Actively support the Centre's mission to promote psychological well-being, inclusion, and diversity. NnRequired Qualifications & Experience: Nn PhD in Psychologyfrom a recognised institution (mandatory). N A research publication record in peer-reviewed journals (Scopus/Web of Science/UGC-CARE). N Demonstrated ability tosupervise students at master's and/or PhD level (preferred). N Solid interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. N
