Job DescriptionJob Title: Industrial Automation Engineer – PCS7 NLocation: Mumbai (Head Office) NDepartment: Engineering / Automation NEmployment Type: Full-time NJob Summary: NWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TIA Portal, PCS 7, WinCC platforms, and industrial communication protocols, along with a solid understanding of process control and instrumentation. NKey Responsibilities: NPLC, SCADA & HMI Development: Nn Design, develop, and program automation systems using Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400, S7-1200/1500, PCS 7) with knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), FBD, and CFC. N Develop SCADA and HMI applications using WinCC Classic, WinCC Professional, WinCC Unified, and Basic/Comfort HMI panels. NnIndustrial Communication & Integration: Nn Configure and integrate field devices and systems using Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and OPC UA. N Troubleshoot and resolve communication and device integration issues across control networks. NnProcess Automation& Control: Nn Implement and optimize PID control loops, batch processing logic, and instrument calibration. N Collaborate with process and instrumentation teams to ensure control strategies align with plant operations. NnProject Execution & Documentation:



Nn Lead and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing). N Prepare and review technical documentation, including control philosophy, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and validation reports. N Conduct risk assessments, manage in office commissioning, and provide post-installation support. NnRequired Skills & Experience: Nn PLC Platforms: Siemens S7 ((phone hidden)/1500), TIA Portal, PCS 7 N SCADA & HMI: WinCC Classic, Professional, Unified; Basic/Comfort HMIn Programming Languages: Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram (FBD), CFC N Industrial Protocols: Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP N Process Knowledge: PID Control, Batch Logic, Instrumentation N Tools: TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, WinCC Engineering, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (preferred) NnSoft Skills: Nn Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills N Excellent documentationand reporting ability N Good interpersonal and communication skills N Ability to work independently and within project teams N Strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance NnPreferred Qualifications: Nn Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering N 3+ years of experience in Siemens-based industrial automation projects N Experience across sectors like pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, chemicals, or utilities N Siemens certification (TIA Portal / PCS 7 / WinCC) is a plus N
