Job DescriptionJob Title NSenior Designer – Civil NRolenn Prepare front end, and detailed design engineering drawings in AutoCAD. N 3D modelling in PDMS & E3D. N Extracting the drawingsfor PDMS / E3D. N He/she shall report to Lead Engineer. NnQualificationsn N Diploma in Civil Engineering. NnRequired Software Knowledge Nn Autocad, PDMS, E3D, Microstation. NnExperiencen N A minimum of 10 years' oil & gas engineering experience (of which 5 years shall be in upstream). Experience in conceptual, front end and detailed civil design is required (minimum 8 years' experience in engineering design company). Fully conversant with relevant international detailing standards. Experience in Saudi/ is strongly preferred. NnGeneralnn Fluent spoken and written English., PC literate NnPrincipal accountabilities Nn To understand therequirements of, the office quality systems and meticulously ensure that these requirements are met. N Proven Experience in AutoCAD. Experience and knowledge of other computer aided modelling systems such as PDMS, MicroStation, Tekla & Revit is appreciated.
N Good skills in management of a pool of designers/ draft persons and task planning to meet schedules as well as valuable interpersonal communication skills. N Plan workload and type of work efficiently and ensure timely completion of the job. N Produce presentable andaccurate 3D Model including a clash check. N Aware of check, interface between civil, structural architectural discipline and other disciplines at all stages of the design. Adhere strictly to safety regulations/ standards. N Understand the contractquality management system and ensure these requirements are met. N Ensure the designers/ draftsman in his team adhere strictly to safety regulations/ standards. N Plan workload and type of work for other designers/ draftsman efficiently and ensure timely completion of the Job. N Inter-discipline co-ordination. NnWork planningnPlan and monitor own's modelling and activities in consultation with Engineer in accordance with the agreed project scope of work and as per client requirements, to ensure that the modelling activities are realized within the project schedule. NCommunicationnResponsible for timely obtaining information from engineers and other disciplines.
