- Designing and deploying Kafka clusters

- Implementing data retention policies and disaster recovery procedures
- Optimizing Kafka performance through configuration and tuning
- Enabling data replication and ensuring fault tolerance
- Developing automation scripts for routine tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for system integration
- Performing troubleshooting and issue resolution for Kafka-related incidents
- Conducting regular system audits and implementing best practices




- Providing technical guidance and support to junior administrators
- Participating in on-call rotation for 24/7 support
- Staying updated with Kafka ecosystem developments and trends
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Kafka Administrator or similar role
- Expertise in deploying and managing Kafka clusters in production environments
- Solid understanding of Kafka architecture, brokers, topics, partitions, and offsets
- Proficiency in Kafka monitoring tools and performance tuning
- In-depth knowledge of Kafka security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution
- Proficient in writing automation scripts using Shell, Python, or similar languages
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related
