Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum 20 years of industrial experience
- Foundry and Steel Arch Furnace experience is preferred
- Sound understanding of Vendors supplying materials for plant maintenance
- Very well versed with plant operations
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations

- Proven experience as maintenance manager or similar role
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Leadership and team-building skills

Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance department, including but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, training, and employee development
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe, efficient, and effective manner




- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the work of subordinates, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and effective manner
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of subordinates, taking corrective action as necessary
- Investigate complaints and incidents, taking appropriate action to resolve issues
- Prepare and submit reports to upper management as required
- Stay abreast of new developments in the field of maintenance and make recommendations for improvements to management
- Manage the departmental budget, ensuring that all expenditures are within allocated limits
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
