Job Description Position - Senior Manager Social Media
n Location - Mumbai
n Key Responsibilities:
n Strategy & Growth
n n Develop and lead the overall social media strategy for Pinkvilla across platforms including Instagram, X, Snapchat, LinkedIn, reddit, App and emerging platforms.
n Build platform-specific growth strategies to increase:
n Followers and subscribers
n Reach and impressions
n Engagement rates
n App MAUs
n User acquisition and retention
n Identify new opportunities, trends, formats, and platform features to drive audience growth and brand visibility.
n Create short-term and long-term roadmaps for social media expansion and monetization opportunities.
n n Execution & Team Management
n n Oversee end-to-end execution of all social media activities and campaigns.
n Lead and manage the social media team including content planners, editors, designers, video teams, and platform managers.
n Ensure timely publishing, optimization, and performance tracking of all social content.
n Maintain consistency in brand tone, visual identity, and platform positioning.
n n Audience Acquisition & Engagement
n n Drive user acquisition strategies through organic social growth, collaborations, creator partnerships, trend-driven content, and viral formats.
n Build solid audience engagement strategies to improve community interaction and loyalty.




n Analyze audience behavior and optimize content strategies accordingly.
n n Content & Innovation
n n Collaborate closely with editorial, video, branded content, and marketing teams to create high-performing content.
n Conceptualize innovative content formats, campaigns, and social-first IPs.
n Stay updated with social media trends, entertainment news cycles, meme culture, and platform algorithm changes.
n n Analytics & Reporting
n n Monitor platform performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
n Track KPIs such as engagement, growth, watch time, CTR, shares, saves, and conversion metrics.
n Present monthly growth reports, insights, and strategy recommendations to leadership.
n n Desired Skills & Qualifications
n n 6+ years of experience in social media strategy and audience growth.
n Prior experience in entertainment, media, digital publishing, or creator ecosystems preferred.
n Strong understanding of platform algorithms, analytics tools, and audience behavior.
n Proven track record of scaling social media pages and driving organic growth.
n Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
n Strong creative thinking and trend forecasting abilities.
n Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment
