About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at Indication Instruments Limited. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the quality aspects of current product development, ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards from inception through launch. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of quality management systems, risk assessment tools, and manufacturing processes. The Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D;, manufacturing, and supplier quality to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in quality assurance within an electronics manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management systems is advantageous. Knowledge of AI applications in quality processes will be considered a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Participate actively in all new product development activities, from initial concept to market launch, ensuring quality requirements are integrated at every stage. Attend and contribute to design reviews,



providing insights to address quality concerns and ensure compliance with specifications. Review DFMEA, PFMEA, and Design Validation Plan & Report (DVP&R;) activities to identify potential risks and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented and tracked. Oversee supplier quality activities related to new product development, including PPAP submissions, validation processes, and process capability studies, ensuring supplier compliance with quality standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing lessons learned and addressing quality issues proactively. Ensure that product and process quality standards are maintained during development, and support corrective and preventive actions to resolve any quality concerns identified during development or post-launch. Support internal audits and customer PPAP audits to verify compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Maintain detailed documentation of quality activities, test results, and audit findings to facilitate transparency and accountability.
