Project: Team is cleaning up the Client's SharePoint environment — roughly 10,000 sites accumulated, in part from a legacy Box migration, broad early Teams rollout permissiveness (shared/private channel sprawl), and automation-generated sites from at least one R&D; group. The work involves meeting with each business department to understand how they actually operate, then fitting that usage into the SharePoint architecture (hub sites, libraries vs. folders vs. sites vs. Teams-connected sites).

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with department stakeholders to learn actual working patterns before mapping them to SharePoint architecture
- Investigate site/file permissions and content (technical forensics) to determine true department or product-line ownership when documentation is unclear
- Build and maintain departmental site maps aligned to the overall hub-site hierarchy
- Complete detailed source-to-target migration mapping and execute moves via ShareGate
- Support ongoing Teams/SharePoint sprawl remediation (redundant private/shared channels, automation-generated sites) as prioritized
- Operate within a capped departmental workload (exact cap still being finalized internally) to preserve quality

- Sits between a pure business analyst and a pure engineer — leans toward one side but can speak credibly to the other
- Working knowledge of SharePoint concepts: internal/external sharing, sensitivity labels, libraries vs. folders vs. sites vs. Teams-connected sites
- Able to produce hierarchical departmental site maps (e.g., a Tech Ops site map spanning Athlone, KSP, and Villa Guardia, Italy, rolling up to a larger hub)
- Able to execute detailed source-to-target mapping (every file/folder logged old-location new site/library/folder) and carry out the move via ShareGate
- Comfortable with structured, tedious tracking work (row-by-row Excel migration logs); prioritize accuracy over speed

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $55.00/Hr - USD $65.00/Hr.
