Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Select and install the correct tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
- Perform machine setup, tool offset adjustments, and minor program modifications when required.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.




- Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine logs.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to achieve daily production targets.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC and VMC machine operations.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, feeds, and speeds.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and editing is an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Turner, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a CNC and/or VMC Machine Operator in a manufacturing industry.
