About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Fabric Sourcing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fabrics, market trends, and supplier management. She will be responsible for identifying new fabric sources, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely procurement of quality fabrics for our retail and wholesale business.

Key Responsibilities

Source fabrics from manufacturers, wholesalers, and mills across India.

Build and maintain relationships with fabric suppliers and vendors.

Visit local markets, exhibitions, and textile fairs to identify new fabrics and trends.

Negotiate prices,



delivery timelines, and payment terms with suppliers.

Coordinate with the merchandising and product teams to understand sourcing requirements.

Ensure fabric quality meets company standards before procurement.

Maintain records of suppliers, fabric samples, pricing, and purchase history.

Track market trends, new materials, colors, prints, and seasonal developments.

Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of fabrics.

Resolve supplier-related issues and maintain smooth procurement operations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field (preferred).

1–5 years of experience in fabric sourcing, textile merchandising, or procurement.

Good knowledge of woven, knitted, cotton, silk, linen, viscose, polyester, and other apparel fabrics.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.

Willingness to travel within Delhi NCR and occasionally outside Delhi for sourcing.

Preferred Skills

Good understanding of garment manufacturing and fabric construction.

Strong vendor management and relationship-building skills.

Ability to identify fabric quality, GSM, weave, and finishing.

Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Knowledge of current fashion and textile trends.
