We are hiring a results-driven Freight Broker & Drayage Specialist to manage end-to-end freight operations with a solid focus on port drayage. This role requires ownership of shipments from booking to delivery, rate negotiation, and proactive issue resolution while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and manage carriers for FTL, LTL, and drayage shipments
- Coordinate port pickups, container movements, and last-mile delivery
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and shippers
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery across all loads
- Handle dispatching, load updates, and documentation (BOL, POD, etc.)
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with carriers and clients
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, port congestion, and detention
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA and port regulations
