Job Description

Position Title: Staff Engineer Software-ReactNativeMobile Developer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead with deep expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern application architecture. The ideal candidate will drive the design, development, optimization, and delivery of scalable mobile and web solutions while providing technical leadership across the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong experience in mobile application architecture, performance engineering, CI/CD automation, cloud-native development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Roles & responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:

- Analyze business and technical requirements and identify gaps between current capabilities and desired outcomes.
- Classify and document functional and non-functional requirements while identifying risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures for mobile and distributed systems.
- Convert high-level designs into detailed technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Architect and build React Native mobile UI infrastructure and reusable component libraries.

Application Development:
- Develop and maintain high-quality applications using React Native.
- Create reusable UI components from wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs including REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, and specialized mobile APIs.
- Explore and practice AI tools for developer productivity.
- Guide development teams on coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and drive engineering excellence across the team.

Performance Engineering & Optimization:
- Optimize application performance across iOS, Android, and backend services.
- Utilize performance profiling tools and techniques to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement enhancements for scalability, reliability, and user experience.
- Perform load testing and evaluate system performance under varying workloads.





Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Ensure adequate test coverage using tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library (RNTL), Detox, and other automation frameworks.
- Manage defect analysis, troubleshooting, regression testing, and root-cause investigations.

DevOps & Release Management:
- Drive CI/CD implementation and automation using tools such as Fastlane, EAS, and modern DevOps practices.
- Ensure adherence to Agile delivery methodologies, feature flag strategies, and backward compatibility standards.
- Manage application deployments and releases across App Store and Google Play platforms.
- Support containerized deployments and cloud-native architectures using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Cloud, Security & Compliance:
- Develop and optimize applications for cloud environments including AWS, Firebase, Amplify, and multi-cloud platforms.
- Implement security best practices, compliance requirements, and mobile application governance standards.
- Support accessibility standards (WCAG) and secure application development practices.

Leadership & Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical solutions through architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and presentations.
- Monitor project progress, identify delivery risks, and ensure milestone achievement.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and development practices.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

9 -12 years of software development experience with strong expertise in React Native application development.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong experience in React Native architecture, reusable component development, and cross-platform mobile optimization.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux,



Zustand, and Context API.
- Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL services, WebSockets, and real-time communication channels.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles across iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery models, Fastlane, EAS, feature flags, and automated deployment practices.
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks including Jest, React Native Testing Library (RNTL), Detox, and integration testing approaches.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and microservices-based applications.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Robust troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while leading technical initiatives and influencing engineering decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Java Spring Boot development.
- Experience with Firebase, AWS Amplify, and other cloud platform services.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth, Push Notifications, Offline Synchronization, and other specialized mobile capabilities.
- Understanding of mobile security, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Experience with performance testing and load generation tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile design systems.
- Open-source contributions and active involvement in engineering communities.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Passion for learning emerging technologies and adapting to evolving business challenges.
