Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

? Credit Appraisal & Underwriting
- Perform detailed financial analysis and credit risk assessment of infrastructure projects and sponsors.
- Evaluate project cash flows, repayment capacity, financial covenants, and overall creditworthiness.
- Prepare comprehensive Credit Appraisal Memorandums for investment committee approval.
- Ensure proper due diligence, including technical, legal, and regulatory assessments.

? Structuring & Execution
- Design credit structures aligned with project cash flows and sector-specific risks.
- Recommend optimal loan tenures, repayment schedules, covenants, and security packages.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (technical, legal, and valuation) for deal execution.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers.

?️ Sector & Project Evaluation
- Analyze infrastructure sectors such as roads, renewables, ports, logistics, social infra, etc.
- Evaluate government concessions, PPP models, annuity or toll-based revenue models, and viability gap funding structures.




- Assess sponsor capability, EPC contractors, and O&M; arrangements.

? Monitoring & Portfolio Management
- Track project progress, financial performance, and repayment behavior of existing borrowers.
- Highlight early warning signals and initiate corrective measures where necessary.
- Participate in periodic reviews and monitoring reports.

? Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
- Recommend credit risk mitigants such as DSRA, escrow, TRA mechanisms, guarantees, or insurance where required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent
- Experience: 3–8 years in credit underwriting or project finance, ideally in infrastructure-focused roles (banks, NBFCs, or infra funds)
- Sector Knowledge: Exposure to infrastructure sectors like roads, energy, ports, urban infra
