This is a client-facing role requiring proven expertise in Workday Financials, PSA or Financial Reporting, with existing Financials certifications or the ability to gain certifications quickly.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Configure &/or optimise Workday Financials / PSA functionality based on complex customer needs within agreed methodologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following functional areas
- a) Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Closing & Reporting
- b) Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Tax and Banking / Settlements
- c) Customer Contracts, Customer Accounts, Project Billing, Revenue Recognition, Cash Application & AR Management
- d) design, build and test of financial reports, and experience of designing / building Financials solutions in PRISM.
- Gather Workday Financials business requirements from client stakeholders / SMEs
- Lead or participate in scoping, requirements gathering workshops and customer confirmation sessions
- Complete Workday Financials configuration workbooks, EIBs / iLoads
- Build / load & unit test configuration in implementation tenants
- Build financial reports & dashboards to meet client statutory and management reporting requirements.
- Coordinate testing efforts for the workstream and problem solve complex issues with minimal support
- Provides support and guidance to more junior team members
- Contributes to the planning and delivery of data migration and cut over phases ensuring milestones are met
- Collaborates effectively with other teams, e.g. HCM, Change, Testing, PMO as required
- Contributes to the evolution of CloudRock implementation methodologies
- Any other duties which may reasonably be assigned from time to time
The Ideal Candidate would have
- Workday Implementer experience
- Workday Certified (current or expired)
- Experience configuring multiple Workday modules
- Experience of multiple Workday Financials implementations
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent, or a relevant
