Summary
Maintains and repairs the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Performs skilled trades work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process. Makes periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary. Works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.
Job Description
JD for Facilities / Maintenance Technician
- Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our operations and Utilities (Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical and Utilities).
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, such as fixing electrical, electronics, plumbing, HVAC,



and mechanical systems and troubleshooting for problem solving.
- Maintenance activities – Preventive, Predictive and Breakdown with minimum downtime
- Planning and Coordination for Daily, weekly, Quarterly and Yearly breakdown activities with suppliers and contractors.
- Assist in the setup and installation of current systems and Utilities equipment’s, as well as supports to execute Improvement projects and retro fitment job.
- Upkeeping of Infra structures and maintenance activities for Civil, Carpentry and Plumbing with suppliers.
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed. Handson knowledge for operational maintenance (O&M;) for Electrical (HT/LT, Breakers & LT Panel, Transformers, DG, UPS) HVAC (Central Air-cooling system, VRV, Clean room etc.) and Utilities (Air compressors, FAS, Fire Hydrant & Sprinklers, Pump house, STP/ETP/WTP, Stackers & Lifters, Gases set up etc.)
