The SAP API Specialist plays a crucial role in the implementation, management, and optimization of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within the SAP ecosystem. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of various applications and services across the organization, facilitating data exchange and process automation. The SAP API Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to define integration strategies that are aligned with business objectives. This role is central to enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and enabling real-time data access. Given the growing importance of digital transformation, the SAP API Specialist also contributes to innovation initiatives, collaborating with IT and business units to develop solutions that leverage APIs for strategic advantage. As such, this role requires a combination of technical expertise,



a deep understanding of business processes, and excellent communication skills, making it vital for the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs for SAP applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
- Implement and enforce API security protocols.
- Documentation of API specifications, technical designs, and code changes.
- Conduct system testing to ensure reliability and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues.
