Overview
The SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Consultant plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization adheres to compliance standards while managing risks effectively. This role is integral to safeguarding sensitive information and processes, enabling organizations to operate efficiently and responsibly in an increasingly complex regulatory setting. The SAP GRC Consultant is responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing GRC tools within the SAP ecosystem, ensuring that the organization's systems are robust, secure, and compliant with laws and regulations. By proactively identifying and mitigating risks, this professional helps to enhance overall business performance and build trust with stakeholders. Their work not only protects the organization's assets but also provides a framework for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure SAP GRC applications based on organizational needs.




- Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and create mitigation plans.
- Manage user access controls and ensure segregation of duties (SoD) compliance.
- Develop and document GRC policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align SAP GRC with business goals.
- Provide training and support to end-users regarding GRC functionalities.
- Lead audits and assessments to evaluate GRC effectiveness and compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting GRC.
- Facilitate GRC workshops and information sessions for stakeholders.
- Optimize GRC tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct impact analysis for system changes and updates on GRC solutions.
