The SAP Functional Testing role is paramount within our organization as it ensures that all SAP applications and processes function correctly and meet business requirements. This position is responsible for validating the functionality of SAP systems by designing, executing, and reviewing test cases to identify discrepancies and ensure quality within our software solutions. SAP Functional Testers collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and understanding of software requirements. As such, this role not only contributes to the successful implementation of current functionalities but also enhances system performance and user experience by delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications.
- Execute functional testing for new SAP configurations and enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document testing requirements.
- Analyze and prioritize testing scenarios to ensure optimal coverage.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected.
- Identify, report, and track software defects through to resolution.
- Participate in user acceptance testing activities with end-users.
- Create and maintain detailed testing documentation and reports.
- Provide training and support to junior testing team members.
- Review and verify test results, analyzing discrepancies against expected outcomes.
- Work with developers to address identified issues and facilitate fixes.
- Maintain knowledge of SAP
