n Role Description:
n Study production drawings, CAD designs, or shop drawings.
n Prepare detailed cut lists showing:
n n Panel dimensions
n Quantity required
n Material type and thickness
n Edge banding requirements
n Grain direction (if applicable)
n Part identification numbers
n n Use optimization software to maximize sheet utilization and reduce material wastage.
n Coordinate with the design, production, CNC, and cutting departments.
n Verify measurements before releasing cut lists to production.
n Maintain records of material consumption and cutting plans.
n Update cut lists when design revisions occur.
n Good understanding of modular furniture construction.
n Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing drawings.
n Knowledge of sheet materials and hardware.
n Diploma or bachelor's degree in Interior Design, furniture design, woodworking technology, or a related field.
