Job Description Position-Assistant Vice President I- Business Finance Analyst with BFSI Exposure at Bank of Baroda

n Contract- 5 years
n Educational Qualification:
n Mandatory: Bachelors degree in any discipline.
n Preferred:
n i) Bachelors / Masters degree in Finance/ Economics/ Accounting/ Business Administration/ Mathematics/ Financial Engineering.
n ii) CFA/ CA/ CPA/ CMA/ CAIA/ ACCA/ FRM/ CIMA/ relevant tertiary qualification.
n Post Qualification Work Experience:
n Mandatory: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in business finance/ financial planning & analysis/ strategic finance/ valuation/ investment analysis/ divestment/ mergers & acquisitions/ corporate development.
n Preferred: Experience in BFSI / consulting firms / mutual funds / cards / payments businesses / any other financial services entities.
n Roles and Responsibilities:
n n Analyze and optimize para banking operations to enhance profitability.
n Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
n Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
n Collaborate with various departments to support financial initiatives and projects.
n Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and planning.




n Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and para banking
n Perform any other Duties/Responsibilities as may be assigned by the Bank from time to time including operational or administrative Roles based on Business needs.

n Para Banking Expertise:
n n In-depth knowledge of para banking activities and regulations.
n Experience in analyzing and optimizing para banking operations.
n n Data Analysis:
n n Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
n Ability to extract insights from large datasets to support decision- making.
n Experience in using data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
n n Financial Analysis:
n n Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
n Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.
n Experience in creating and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
n n Regulatory Knowledge:
n n Understanding of banking and financial regulations, especially those pertaining to para banking activities.
