JD: Mandatory skills: Oracle to Postgres on Azure migration.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate on-premises transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, evaluate and plan migrations to AWS RDS, Aurora.
- Enhance database PLSQL scripts/TSQL to migrate from source database to target database
- Identity workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration
- Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate database readiness post migration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred




- 6+ years of experience in database development/migration using Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience on AWS Services - RDS, Aurora, SCT, DMS
- Experience migrating Large databases > 1TB in size across multiple database engines (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, etc. )
- Experience with heterogenous database migrations
- Experience in performance optimization techniques
- High end Troubleshooting and Communication skills
- Scripting language (bash/Perl/python)
- Experience in Database Administration - backup/restore, replication, etc
