Your tasks will include:
- Create and own software quality assurance process adhering to ISO 25010 and V-model.
- Develop and execute test strategies and plans with test engineers for the validation of hardware and firmware to ensure compliance with performance, reliability and safety requirements
- Lead firmware quality assurance department with scope for future direct reporting.
- Perform and coordinate functional, stress and environmental testing on hardware components and embedded firmware systems for variable speed drives
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware development teams to define quality requirements and ensure that Design for Testability (DfT) principles are considered
- Perform manual and automated testing of firmware functions, control algorithms and hardware components to verify behavior under real-world conditions
- Analyze test results to determine root cause of issues and work closely with development teams to drive corrective actions and process improvements
- Continuously improve the test methodology in collaboration with regional labs and test engineers to ensure consistency and adherence to the highest quality st
