Role description

Role Description:
- Person is responsible for organizing and supervising purchasing functions of ISP purchase: managing daily activities to strategic engagement for purchasing of various type of raw material, electronic components, assembly manufacturing services, test equipment’s/hardware , electro mech commodity items etc.
- Managing contracts including administering, negotiating, reviewing, renewing, and evaluating for cost, quality, delivery & terms.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead and execute sourcing strategies.
- Track and report KPI’s, reduce cost and increase effectiveness.
- Partner with stakeholders and define the success metrics.




- Develop negotiation strategies and finalize negotiation with best optimal outcome.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in supply vs demand.
- Perform cost and what if analysis, conduct benchmarking exercise.
- Develop supplier and create strategic partnerships.
- Assess, manage and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries for inventory control
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular business reviews.
- Track delivery of materials and mitigate shortages.
- Propose alternate components and develop multi sourcing plans along with stakeholders.

Requirements
Skill/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in SCM, business, engineering or related field, MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 yrs of domain expertise in strategic sourcing of electronics components or equivalent commodities
- Expertise in managing electronics components suppliers
- Experience in purchasing raw material and finished goods, electro- mec
