Manager Indirect Tax Compliance

For this new role, we are seeking an Indirect Tax Compliance Manager to assist establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on VAT and GST compliance across multiple regions and managing Amgen’s VAT/GST compliance. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of indirect tax operations and driving compliance efficiency.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a passion for technology, automation, and process excellence.
Responsibilities
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure accurate and timely issuance and receipt of e-invoices in accordance with governing indirect tax / e-invoicing legislation.
- Monitor VAT/GST changes in the area of e-invoicing and assess impact on compliance processes and technology set-up.
- Proactively manage internal controls relating to e-invoicing and triage of issues.
- Technology Transformation
- Roll out of e-invoicing mandates in various countries using SAP DRC
