Content Acquisition & Licensing Strategy

- Develop and execute the content acquisition strategy for the English entertainment portfolio.
- Identify and secure premium movies, series, specials, franchises, and library content from major international studios and distributors.
- Build a balanced content pipeline aligned with brand positioning, audience preferences, and business objectives.

Studio & Distributor Relationship Management

- Manage strategic relationships with leading global content suppliers, including studios, distributors, and independent production companies.
- Act as the primary business interface for licensing discussions with partners such as HBOmax, Paramount, Disney and NBCUniversal.
- Build and nurture partnerships to improve content access, deal structures, and commercial outcomes.

Commercial Negotiation & Deal Management

- Lead negotiations for content rights acquisition across multiple platforms and windows.
- Structure innovative and commercially viable licensing agreements that maximize content value while maintaining budget discipline.
- Negotiate key terms including rights scope, exclusivity, territories, languages, windows, duration, and platform exploitation rights.




- Manage end-to-end deal execution from content evaluation through contract closure.

Content Evaluation & Portfolio Management

- Develop business cases and financial projections for major acquisition investments.
- Monitor performance of acquired content and derive insights to refine future acquisition strategies.
- Optimize content portfolios to maximize audience engagement and return on investment.

Qualifications & Experience

- MBA/Postgraduate Degree in Business, Media Management, Finance, Marketing, or related disciplines preferred.

- 15+ years of experience in Content Acquisition, Content Licensing, Programming Strategy, Distribution, or Media Business Development.
- Proven track record of negotiating content deals with major international studios and distributors.
- Deep understanding of English entertainment content, Hollywood studios, television networks, and streaming platforms.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar content investment portfolios.
- Solid exposure to rights acquisitions across linear, digital, OTT, SVOD, AVOD, FVOD, and FAST ecosystems.
