Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into data structures
- Provide overall architecture solutions and presenting options
- Provides support to a core Data warehouse Technical team for ETL, BI and database solutions.
- Evolves models to meet new and changing business requirements
- Participate in data rationalization activities
- Design logical data models for informational and operational systems; Evolves models to meet new and changing business requirements
- Support packaged data structures and any additional modeling of database tables, indexes, and views
- Recommend, develop, and enforce IT and database standards, guidelines, and procedures in order to facilitate quality assurance.
- Documents data requirements for database design
- Communicates logical database designs to the database administrators

Requirements:
- 8 - 10 years of experience in supporting database environments including a minimum of 3-5 years supporting enterprise data warehouse efforts.
- Experience with data warehouse technologies and/or back-end reporting systems




- Experience designing and developing data marts and/or data cube solutions.
- Knowledge of data, master data and metadata related standards, processes and technology
- Experience defining, designing and implementing logical and physical data models
- Experience in SQL and query tuning to meet strict performance SLAs
- Experience designing and implementing reporting data sources and reports
- Experience working cross functionally to deliver resolutions of technical, procedural, and operational issues
- Hands-on expertise working with at least one enterprise data warehouse tool
- Solid communication skills, team spirit essential.
- Ability to work effectively with a cross cultural team of varied skillsets and experience levels across countries.
- Ability to come out with LDM to meet the business requirements and then translate to PDM based on tools like Erwin / DB Designer / etc.
