Job Description:

The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental practices across project sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, conducting risk assessments, and driving a proactive safety culture across all MEP project activities. You will work closely with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure protected execution, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement in safety performance.

Key Responsibilities (HSE Management & Compliance) • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across project sites. • Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification (HIRA), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for ongoing activities. • Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, client requirements, and industry standards. • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and site walkthroughs to identify unsafe conditions and practices. • Lead incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis,



and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Monitor and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across sites. • Conduct toolbox talks, safety trainings, and awareness programs for site teams and workers. • Maintain HSE documentation, reports, permits, and compliance records. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities for safety audits and approvals. • Support emergency preparedness, mock drills, and crisis management planning.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Safety Performance & Compliance • Reduction in incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases across project sites. • Compliance with statutory regulations and zero major safety violations. • Effective implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
- Audit & Inspection Efficiency • Timely completion of safety audits and inspections as per schedule. • Identification and closure of safety observations within defined timelines.
