Job Title: Associate (Tele-caller) â Care Counselling & Newborn Follow-Up
Introductory Description:
Community Empowerment Lab is seeking Associates for Telephonic Follow-Up to support a public health newborn program through structured telephonic engagement. The role involves regular follow-up calls with ASHAs and families to collect birth and newborn outcome information, ensure continuity of care, and maintain accurate program records. Through timely follow-ups and accurate reporting, this position directly contributes to public health initiatives aimed at reducing neonatal mortality.
This is an entry level full time, office-based role in Lucknow, suitable for fresh graduates or early-career professionals interested in maternal and newborn health and community-based public health programs.
Location: Lucknow (candidates must be based in or willing to work from Lucknow).
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage proactively with ASHAs and families through structured follow-up calls to ensure every newborn is identified, supported, and receives timely care.
- Initiate outbound calls to families to follow up for counseling, well-being of newborns outcome gathering, collect pertinent information, and update relevant records.
- Conduct regular monthly follow-up calls with ASHAs to collect birth data within designated communities.
- Verify the accuracy of birth details reported by ASHAs.
- Coordinate with the health facilities for treatment of sick YIs and reporting.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of all calls and collected data within the database,updating of all birth notification forms in the designated systems.
- Assist in the systematic cross-verification of birth data against health facility records to identify and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with team to proactively address any challenges or issues encountered during the data collection process.
