Job Description:

The Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for independently executing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex industrial or commercial electrical systems. This role requires a high degree of technical proficiency, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Complex Troubleshooting and Repair: Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical faults in power distribution systems (up to 480V/medium voltage), motor controls, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and various control systems.
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs (e.g., thermal imaging, vibration analysis) to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized electrical projects, including system upgrades, new equipment installations, and modifications to existing infrastructure, ensuring scope, budget,



and timeline adherence.
- Code Compliance & Safety Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on safety protocols and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA), ensuring all work meets regulatory requirements and promoting a solid safety culture within the team.
- Mentorship and Training: Guide, mentor, and train junior technicians (those with 1-3 years of experience) in best practices for troubleshooting, safety, and equipment repair.
- Documentation and Analysis: Maintain precise documentation of all maintenance activities, track equipment performance metrics, and use data analysis to identify recurring problems and propose long-term solutions.
- Vendor Coordination: Interface with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, equipment procurement, and project support.
