Job Description:

Reports To: VP – Finance & C.S.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, general ledger entries, and
bank reconciliations.
 Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring
compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Ensure invoices are processed and paid in accordance
with payment terms.
 Collaborate closely with the US-based accounting team to ensure accurate and timely communication of financial
data and reports.
 Prepare and maintain financial records, documents, and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements.
 Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
 Reconcile discrepancies and resolve any issues related to financial transactions and records.
 Assist with tax-related matters, including indirect taxes, income taxes, and withholding tax calculations, ensuring




compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
 Monitor changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and ensure the company's accounting processes
remain compliant.
 Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting
function.
 Provide support during external audits and collaborate with auditors as needed.
 Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive company information.

Qualifications:

 Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Skilled certifications such as CA, CPA, or
equivalent are a plus.
 Proven experience (3-5 years) in general accounting roles, preferably with exposure to US GAAP
 Proficiency in using accounting software and tools. Experience with Microsoft Business Central
 Strong understanding of Indian and US tax regulations, and experience in handling cross-border transactions is
desirable.
