Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance processes across production, packaging, and handling to ensure adherence to food safety standards and internal SOPs.
- Supervise, mentor, and train quality executives and frontline QA staff on food safety protocols and quality best practices.
- Prepare for and lead internal and external audits including HACCP, FSSAI, ISO, and other regulatory or certification audits.
- Approve raw material quality and oversee sensory, physical, and quality inspections of finished products.
- Drive resolution of quality issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all QA activities including reports, logs, checklists, and compliance records.
- Prepare and present periodic quality dashboards and reports to management.
- Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen food safety systems.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure end-to-end quality control across the supply chain.
