POSITION PURPOSE / ROLE
The Supply Chain / Logistics Manager acts as the central coordinator between sales, production, procurement, and logistics and is the BACK BONE of the operations. The role ensures production activities are aligned with orders received, resources are optimally utilized, and bottlenecks are resolved proactively. It demands strong problem solving skills, analytical thinking, process orientation, and solid communication skills / strong teamwork to maintain workflow efficiency, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfilment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Production Monitoring,
Capacity Planning & Dispatch Coordination
Monitor daily production output and adjust plans to meet delivery timelines.
Identify and resolve any bottlenecks in dispatches proactively.
Support new product launches with capacity planning and resource allocation.
· Procurement & Material Availability
Work with procurement to secure timely availability of raw materials, packaging components, and moulds.
Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks to avoid production stoppages.
Align procurement schedules with production plans to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Dispatches & Customer Fulfilment
Ensure all customer orders are dispatched on time, in the correct quantity, and meeting quality standards.
Coordinate closely with warehouse and dispatch teams to guarantee OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.
Track and report dispatch accuracy and customer satisfaction metrics.
