Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Transport Manager to lead our Bangalore operations. This role is ideal for someone who has a balanced flair for sales and operations, and is looking to grow within a reputed logistics company.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate daily transport operations at the AI SATS Warehouse

Oversee fleet scheduling, driver deployment, and on-time delivery performance

Maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams

Drive operational efficiency while keeping a keen eye on cost control

Actively participate in business development and sales discussions

Generate leads and contribute to revenue growth through service promotion

Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards

Supervise a team and provide clear direction and performance feedback

Ideal Candidate Profile

Age between 35 to 45 years

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in transport/logistics operations

Prior experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in a transport company is essential

Energetic and enthusiastic about sales with a proven ability to build client relationships

Solid leadership, team management, and communication skills

Sound understanding of transportation compliance and documentation

Familiarity with the Bangalore logistics landscape is an added advantage
