Description
Strategic
- Setting up and managing MEP function including participating in recruitment of project staff and mentoring them to achieve the desired goals
- Capturing MEP related knowledge across the projects and disseminating it across the organization
- Effective management of training for the team and project staff and monitoring improvement due to trainings
- Ensuring training of contractors staff and workmen working at sites
- Setting up and managing organization processes related to MEP
- Providing feedback for improving working processes
- Establishing and managing Strategic tie up with research institutes and educational institutes to implement innovation

Operational
- Responsible for MEP works at all stages of the project from concept to completion of the projects
- Responsible for intensive reviews of GFC drawings & cost optimization
- Responsible for ensuring all green building related aspects are incorporated in MEP construction
- Budgeting and costing of all MEP related activities for buildings and external developments at all stages of work




- Timely resolution of MEP related RFIs
- Coordinate with Contracts team for on time award of MEP contracts
- Provide technical support for managing MEP related statutory approvals of projects
- Provide technical support for certification of final account bills
- Responsible for implementing MEP related innovations

Developmental
- Developing, guiding and mentoring project team on MEP works, ensuring quality and safety as per the highest std. are maintained at project sites by the vendors and staff working under him.
- Developing working relationship with research and education institutes

Internal & External Interactions

Internal: Project Management Group including Budgeting and Costing, MEP Design Planning, Procurement and Contacts at CO, Project Heads of all sites, MEP engineers at all sites

External: Vendors, Suppliers and Contractors, Consultants, Research Institutes, Educational Institutes
