In this role, you will provide legal
support to the company on a wide range of matters, including:
Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts including agreements relating to procurement,
service, consulting, distribution, external manufacturing, sales, license, intellectual property,
franchise, leave and license and other legal agreements
Experience with retailers, drafting of basic franchisee, store opening retail contracts
Experience with legal notices from business partners (sending notices and replying to notices)
Conducting legal research and providing advice on a variety of legal issues
Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and other corporate transactions
Assisting in managing and resolving legal disputes
Working with external counsel as needed
Qualifications:
LLB degree from a recognized law school
2-5 years of experience in a corporate or in-house legal setting. Retail experience or experience in
executing commercial contracts will be preferred.
Robust research and writing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
