Job Description Café Coffee Day's menu consists of different cuisines . The job responsibility of this role is to keep a track of global and local food trends, create new food products and implement best practises in the industry.
n Responsibilities
n n New Product Development: Create new food products based on global trends
n Competition Review: Competitor tracking for products, best practises
n Product library: Trials and recipe documentation of food
n Product Costing: Costing and margin analysis of new products
n SOP and Training Content: Content creation for training of new products
n Training: Train the trainer programmes and staff training for new products
n Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and suppliers to source ingredients-breads, desserts, gravies, sauces , fillings , seasonings for new product development
n Cost Management: Monitor and manage product costs. Continuous work on improving product costs through alternate ingredients and new vendors




n Process enhancement: Identify opportunities of process and equipment improvement and enhancement in the system
n Quality Control: Work closely with the QA team for product related closures-Product Specifications, SOP's, Nutritional Information, Allergens
n Overall, the new product development manager/asst manager plays a crucial role in current product development, competitor review and tracking global trends, cost management, vendor management and process enhancement
n n Qualifications
n n Bachelor in Hotel Management
n 6-15 years experience in Hotel / QSR innovations
n Solid verbal or written communication skills
n Hot kitchen with well versed with cuisines of continental , American , Oriental , Indian
n Technical knowledge of frozen foods, science of cooking
n Open to travel PAN India
